re: Why Eloqua Has the Right Stuff
Thanks for your responses. Like I said my experience hasn't been all bad. I was just a little surprised that this update on the company didn't include new announcements as to the user experience and delivery issues that seem to be common pain points for users of the platform I've encountered. I'll be in the program Monday and will check for what version we're using, Dave. And, thanks Heather for your team's help G I know you're working on it.

We always try to work closely with our customers to drive meaningful improvements, including user experience and performance. I know we are already working with a few folks at your company on these issues but I'd be happy to connect with you as well if you'd like and make sure your feedback gets fed directly to our product management team. re: Why Eloqua Has the Right Stuff
It's nice that Eloqua is working so hard on this social integration, but having used four "marketing automation" systems over the course of my career I have to say that Eloqua's offering around creating and delivering e-mails is severely lacking. Its reporting capabilities are great, probably the best I've used, and it's admirable that they identify the real need to provide actionable analytics and rope in social media, as those are certainly going to be necessary for campaigns going forward. However, a less clunky interface, as well as more consistent performance, would be every bit an improvement and help users by not forcing them to spend as much time on delivery troubleshooting and more time on great content.
