Onyeka Nchege is the Chief Information Officer for Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated (CCBCC), the largest independent Coca-Cola bottler in the United States. He has strategic and operational responsibility for developing the information technology strategy and management of IT platforms and technical infrastructure. The CCBCC mission is to make, sell, and deliver soft drinks better than anyone else. Onyeka began his career working for Wachovia, a major financial services organization, as a technical business analyst designing and implementing e-commerce solutions. He transitioned to the manufacturing industry, where he provided strategic leadership to technical application software developers and business functional professionals in a multi-platform/multi-location environment for Pillowtex Corporation (Fieldcrest Cannon). A frequent speaker on technology empowerment, leadership development, and business improvement, Onyeka is a graduate of the Georgia State University J. Mack Robinson College of Business. Onyeka serves on the Board of Directors for Apparo, Advisory Board for UNC Charlotte's College of Computing and Informatics, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Charlotte, and Bethel Baptist Church Ministries.
