Ross Turk is director of product marketing in the Storage and Big Data business unit at Red Hat, responsible for marketing the software-defined storage portfolio of products based on Ceph and Gluster. Turk comes to Red Hat from Inktank, acquired by Red Hat in May 2014, where he was VP of product marketing and community. He has more than 15 years of experience creating open source software, managing complex IT systems, and helping companies serve software developers. Before joining Inktank, Turk managed developer communities for Talend, Alcatel-Lucent, and SourceForge.net, the world's largest open source community. He also led the engineering team for SourceForge and provided architectural leadership.
