In the past year, the number of ransomware attacks has surged. Even though these types of security threats have been around for years, new technology has allowed cyber-criminals to repackage these attacks against enterprises, as well as small businesses. How should IT respond? John Pironti, President of IP Architects, says he believes that in addition to raising technology and security concerns, ransomware also brings up moral and ethical questions.
